About the event

Andrea Bocelli, world’s beloved tenor and one of the most successful international musical acts, will once again perform at the Olympic National Sports Complex in Kyiv on May 16th 2020.

The singer is actively touring around the world and conquering new stages. This will be Bocelli’s second performance in Ukraine after a triumphant show on 23 September 2017, which was part of his global Cinema tour.

An owner of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Bocelli is also a well-known philanthropist. The Andrea Bocelli Foundation helps children from poor Haitian families. It has also contributed to the creation of The Voices of Haiti, a choir made up of 60 talented children from the most underprivileged parts of Port-au-Prince.  “I strongly believe that love does justice. And it is for this simple reason that we are all responsible for building a better world”, says the artist.

October 26th 2018 saw the release of Bocelli’s 16th studio album, Si, his first record in 14 years – since the hit album Andrea – to use solely original songs. These include duets with his son Matteo Bocelli, Dua Lipa, Josh Groban and Ariana Grande. For the first time in singer's career, the new album immediately topped British and American music charts.

The upcoming concert in Kyiv will include well-known opera arias and international hits. Maestro Bocelli will be accompanied by the National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine and Hryhoriy Veryovka National Academic Folk Choir, who already shared the staged with the artist in 2017.
